Martin County Master Gardener, Nellie Wiggins and her Garden Gizmos and Gadgets.

November 17, at 10:00 am, Nellie Wiggins led us through her history of how she became "Queen of Recycling". Wiggins hates to throw things away especially when she got them for "FREE"  and can easily find a new and wonderful use for each item. If half of the 65 people in attendance take half of what Wiggins had to say seriously, we would consider this lecture a big success. Only we can stop all of the waste that is destroying our planet.

Wiggins shown here between a surprise art exhibit and the Wedding Gazebo.

A broken rake becomes a holder for your tools!

Wiggins has a down- to- earth humor and kept smiles on every face.

Keep your nails clean gardening...scrape them over a bar of soap then wash your hands. Clean!

Dr. John Alleyne, Director of the Extension Service in Martin County shared information about a new pest in Martin County Gardens.

Rich Oswald, the first door-prize winner with his ornamental pineapple.

Phil Konietzko, smiles happily with his Hawaiian Volcano Plant.

Pretty Joyce Miller was the winner of a Garden Gift Certificate.

As a special treat to our Garden Visitors this November weekend, we had a display of Artistic Glass Designs created by Rob Rifflard of No Monku Studios in Stuart.

Rob Rifflard poses next to one of his spectacular Artistic Designs.

Butterfly in tree.

The sunlight through the glass is incredible.

This huge piece was attached to the Wedding Gazebo.

A perfect complement to our Oriental Area.

You can almost hear the chatter from these guys.
