On the 23rd of January, the TRBG Volunteers had a special treat. We
were invited to the private garden of one of our volunteers. Paul Ingles has
been a volunteer with TRBG for almost a year and he works on plant
propagation. Paul's green thumb is very evident when you walk through
his Tropical Garden and see the variety of plants he grows in a limited
amount of space. His Garden consists of palms, a variety of ferns,
bromeliads, coleus, anthuriums, amaryllis, crotons, and an herb garden.
However, Paul feels his "Crowning Glory" is the almost 100 orchids
that bloom at various times of the year which are scattered around the
garden, nestled in the ferns, and hanging from the trees. Walking
through Paul's garden soothes the soul and reminds us of the beauty of
nature.
