GRACE
PLACE COMMUNITY CHURCH MEMBERS VISIT
TROPICAL RANCH BOTANICAL GARDENS.
November
20 brought car pooling ladies and
gentlemen from the Grace Place to
Tropical Ranch Botanical Gardens.
The weather could not have been
better for them to see the plants
showing off their winter blooms.
Diane
Rexroad and Jim Haines, owners of
TRBG, greeted the group. Afterward,
Nicky Campbell, the volunteer tour
leader, led them on a tour
throughout the garden. These folks
were very impressed with the wide
variety of plants and how these
plants were used in very different
settings in the ten theme gardens.
Sharing their spectacular garden
with interested and enthusiastic
visitors is its own reward for the
couple who put in long hours
maintaining the three acres that
comprise TRBG. Both Rexroad and
Haines are Martin County Master
Gardeners with the University of
Florida, and they preach the gospel
of gardening: "put the right plant
in the right place." Submitted
