Meet the Campbells, Nicky and Art

Nicky and Art are what we at TRBG call "charter members". They have been with Tropical Ranch Botanical Gardens since its inception. These are very familiar faces to most of you for this reason. Art can always be found at the cash table and Nicky is all over the back shadehouse areas greeting visitors, answering questions and generally keeping everything looking its best.

Presenting Art & Nicky Campbell

Nicky, Linda and Art taking a moment off.

While Art takes pictures throughout the gardens at TRBG, Nicky is more apt to be found preparing the shade house for the monthly opening and arranging the featured plants.  But, that is not all they do....
Art paints most of the signs and several pieces of "garden art". In addition, he writes Haiku poems and paints them on signs in the Asian Serenity Garden.  His favorite is:

Reaching for the light
Bending and becoming shade
So that all may grow

Nicky checks a press release with owner, Diane Rexroad.

Nicky loves hats and has wonderful variety of them.

Since TRBG opened to the public almost two and a half years ago, Nicky has prepared the monthly news releases for area publications and has facilitated the visits of local feature writers.  Nicky has a wonderful knack with words and TRBG is very appreciative of all the time and effort she puts in at her computer to be sure that everyone is aware of our current events.
