4th Annual Photo Contest

On September 19, 2009, Tropical Ranch Botanical Gardens completed our 4th Annual Photo Contest.  The judges remarked it was the most difficult to judge thus far. The photos just keep getting better and better. Our wonderful judges, for the third and fourth times, were local artists Kelly Arnold, Hope Everson and professional photographer, Michael Salzlechner who also, post-award ceremony, gave us all some great tips on using our camera to our best advantage.

This year, for the first time, we had entries from two youngsters, seven year old Kendal Mirkowski and five year old, Trey Mirkowski. These "budding photographers" were presented with Participation Awards and we hope to see them again in the future contests.

Thank you to all of our talented photographers who give us at TRBG, an opportunity to see the Gardens through someone else's eye and appreciate it all the more. Thank you to all of our participants.
